Anime Overgeared has officially released its second full trailer and a new key visual. Along with this announcement, six additional voice actors have also been confirmed to join the cast ahead of its premiere on October 2, 2026.
Youngwoo Shin, the Blacksmith in the World of Satisfy
The story in this anime centers on Youngwoo Shin, a part-timer who spends his free time playing a VR MMORPG called Satisfy under the character name Grid. Unlike other players, Grid is fairly average and levels up much more slowly than his peers.
Everything changed when Grid accidentally discovered a tome containing the long-lost knowledge of a legendary blacksmith. This ability paved the way for him to forge far more powerful gear, even though he had to rebuild his strength from scratch.
Production Staff
The latest trailer also confirms the addition of new voice actors to the anime. Here is the cast that has been announced:

- Asami Seto dubbing Yura.
- I am Fukuzumi play the role of Euphemina.
- Shuntaro Takayama dubbing Toon.
- Riho Sugiyama play the role of Jishuka.
- Masaaki Mizunaka dubbing Toban.
- Yasushi Bonkobara play the role of Regas.
- Katsuya Fukunishi dubbing Vantner.
- Kohei Amasaki play the role of Pon.
- Shunichi Tok dubbing Faker.
Behind the scenes, several names have already been confirmed for the production. Ayako Kono is serving as the director of this anime at J.C.STAFF, while Kenta Ihara is handling series composition.
Visually, the characters were designed by Ryosuke Tanigawa. The anime’s music is composed by Yoshiaki Fujisawa, while Yoshikazu Iwanami serves as Sound Director. The opening theme song, “SATISFY,” is featured in the latest trailer and performed by Re:name.

Overgeared is adapted from a web novel by Saenal, with the webtoon version created by Monohumbug (REDICE STUDIO) and Team Argo. The webtoon has gained immense popularity and is now following in the footsteps of several other Korean fantasy anime adaptations such as Solo Leveling, Tower of God, and The Beginning After the End.
