Core Creates announces Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition who will be present at 2026. Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced includes three main games in the series:
- Azure Striker Gunvolt (2014)
- Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 (2016)
- Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 (2022)
All previously released DLC is also included in this package. It's worth noting that the versions for PS5, Switch, and PC were released earlier in the year. July 24, 2025.

Azure Striker Gunvolt is a 2D action platformer series developed by Inti Creates, a studio also known for working on the Mega Man Zero and Mega Man ZX. The series has a strong fan base among fans of retro-modern style 2D action games.

Azure Striker Gunvolt GX DLC
Azure Striker Gunvolt GX is a new story mode that is part of the Switch 2 Edition as well as separate DLC for PS5 and PC. This mode features dual-character gameplay with Gunvolt and Copen, the two main protagonists in the series, who each have different playstyles. A new “Inspiration” system was also introduced to provide an additional layer in the scoring mechanics. For players who already own the PS5 or PC versions of Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced, DLC Gunvolt GX will be available as a separate purchase so you don't have to repurchase the entire collection to enjoy this new content.
