Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves the arrival of new DLC characters from Season 2. Quoted from Gematsu, SNK announced that Mr. Karate will be officially available from May 27, 2026 as a downloadable content character for the fighting game.
Who is Mr. Karate?
Mr. Karate is depicted as a mysterious martial artist wearing a tengu mask. The character is closely linked to South Town's history - he's reminiscent of a formidable fighter who rocked the city in the past. But his powers and abilities are his own, not just a shadow of the past.
As a style practitioner Kyokugen, Mr. Karate's strength is even said to surpass Marco Rodrigues, the current head of the Kyokugen sect. The character is voiced by River Vitae in the English version, and Go Shinomiya in the Japanese version.
Available Modes for Mr. Karate
SNK confirmed that Mr. Karate will come with special content across two main modes:
- Arcade Mode - Mr. Karate faces off against tough fighters as he searches for his secret martial art and the peak of his potential. An ultimate showdown awaits at the end of the journey.
- Episodes of South Town - Follow Mr. Karate's journey through South Town in search of a worthy opponent. Who will reach the pinnacle of power?
Platform and Availability
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Mr. Karate DLC as part of Season 2 will be accessible from May 27, 2026.
SNK also released a new trailer in two versions (English and Japanese) as well as a number of screenshots to introduce this character in more detail to players. The trailer showcases Mr. Karate's aggressive and powerful fighting style, reflecting his reputation as one of the most dangerous fighters in South Town.
