Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026 has finally announced its official list of winners. This year, *My Hero Academia: FINAL SEASON* won Anime of the Year, while *Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Castle* won Film of the Year.
This event also recorded 73 million votes from fans around the world. In addition to the main categories, the list of winners includes new series, films anime, songs, characters, directors, visuals, and voice acting in various languages.
The 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards were held in Tokyo on May 23, 2026. Outside of the competitive categories, Tatsuya Nagamine received the Global Impact Award. The five countries with the highest engagement this year were Brazil, Germany, India, Mexico, and the United States.
Grand Prize Winner of the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards
The top category at the 2026 ANIME AWARDS was won by My Hero Academia: Final Season. This title also adds to the victories through Best Ending Sequence for the song “I” by BUMP OF CHICKEN and Best Supporting Character for Katsuki Bakugo.
For the film category, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle take home Movie of the Year. The same title also won at Best Score through Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina. In addition, Demon Slayer appeared in several voice acting categories for the character Akaza.
The Apothecary Diaries (Season 2) also posted strong results this year. The anime won Best Drama, Best Director, Best Main Character for Maomao, as well as the voice acting categories in Japanese and Hindi.
In other categories, Gachiakuta to win Best New Series, Best Background Art, and Best Character Design.
Meanwhile, Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- achieve Best Action and Best Animation.
