Starsand Island Island will officially leave Early Access with its full launch on August 18, 2026. This anime-style life simulation and farming game from developer Seed Sparkle Lab will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.
Starsand Island Exits Early Access
Prior to its full release, Starsand Island will first be available in Early Access for Xbox Series and PC on February 11, 2026. The full version of the game will feature new content, including online multiplayer, expanded interactions with NPCs, dating activities, and seasonal events.
This game draws inspiration from rural China and traditional Eastern philosophy. Players can experience island life at a more relaxed pace through activities such as farming, crafting, ranching, fishing, cooking, and building homes.
Starsand Island Now Features Online Multiplayer
The full version of Starsand Island will feature online multiplayer for up to four players. In this mode, players can explore the island together, fish along the coast, build areas together, and battle monsters in the ancient ruins.
Multiplayer mode also has its own exclusive currency. This currency can be used to earn special rewards through the multiplayer shop.
Relationships With NPCs Are Made Deeper
The full launch of Starsand Island expands interactions with the island’s residents. A total of 19 NPCs will receive new relationship quests at the three-heart and five-heart levels.
These quests will unlock additional content as the player’s relationship with the character grows closer. In addition, 14 romanceable characters will have additional dating activities, including picnics, kite flying, and playing arcade games together.
Autumn Pumpkin Carnival Becomes a New Seasonal Event
Seed Sparkle Lab is also launching a new seasonal event called the Autumn Pumpkin Carnival. This event features its own storyline, event-exclusive quests, and several special fall-themed activities.
In this event, players can catch glowing jellyfish, plant festival pumpkins, and feed special treats to animals so they’ll produce candy. Rewards from this event include outfits, makeup, emotes, recipes, furniture, cosmetics, and collectibles.
