Indonesian Game Day 2026 is coming to Steam via an event Indonesia Game Sale August 1–10, 2026. This event will showcase games from Indonesian developers at various stages of development, ranging from those that have already been released, to those still in development, to those available as demos.

Check Out the Indonesia Game Sale on Steam

The Indonesia Game Sale is part of the celebrations for Indonesian Game Day 2026, or Hargai. Through a dedicated page on Steam, players can browse a wide selection of games from Indonesian developers all in one place.

This event doesn’t just feature games that are already fully available. Some titles are still on their way to release, while others can be tried out first through demos.

Therefore, the Indonesia Game Sale is best viewed as a platform to discover works by Indonesian developers on Steam, rather than simply as a list of games currently on sale. The genres featured are also quite diverse. There are horror, adventure, tactical RPG, cooking games, retro pixel-art adventures, and several other approaches that make this event’s lineup feel extensive.

Some Games Worth Checking Out

DreadOut has become one of the most recognizable names at this event. This horror game from Digital Happiness has long been an important part of the Indonesian gaming scene, especially for players who enjoy the horror genre on PC.

KuloNiku: Bowl Up (Gambir Studio / Raw Fury)

In addition, there are KuloNiku: Bowl Up!, a cooking game with a cozy atmosphere, quirky characters, and cooking battle elements. The game focuses on cooking, developing a shop, and running a family restaurant.

Agni: Village of Calamity (Wired Productions / Separuh Interactive)

As for upcoming games, Agni: Village of Calamity will also be featured. This horror game is set in a village and features investigative elements, but it is still in development. Risa's Journal: Dark Destiny is another title that reinforces the horror genre’s presence at this event.

Not All Games Are in the Same Situation

One thing to note about Indonesian Game Day 2026 is that each game is at a different stage of development. Some games have already been fully released, some are still on their way to release, and others can be tried out via a demo.

Broomstick Exorcist (Digital Happiness)

Broomstick Exorcist including games that haven’t been fully released yet. This game from Digital Happiness features a hand-drawn 2D style with elements of beat ’em up, horror, and the supernatural. Kriegsfront Tactics It hasn’t been fully released yet, but this mecha-themed tactical RPG already has a demo/prologue. The game combines tactical strategy, exploration, and mecha customization in an alternate setting inspired by Southeast Asia.

Troublemaker This game is an action title set in a school and centered on teenage conflicts. It offers a different take compared to the horror, tactical RPG, and adventure games also featured on the Indonesia Game Sale page.

There are also WORK WORK WORK, a retro pixel-art adventure game about the cycle of work, life, and death. The game invites players to search for clues, gather information, and explore the Triquetra corporation to uncover the truth behind its surreal routines.
