Wonderland Kazakiri Inc. will be attending the Tokyo Game Show 2026. The studio will have a booth at HALL 09-E40. Wonderland Kazakiri is bringing two games to the event: CASSETTE BOY and SUPER FROPPINGS. The Tokyo Game Show 2026 will take place from September 17 to 21, 2026, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba.
Both games feature demos that visitors can play right away. Every visitor who tries the demo will receive an exclusive SUPER FROPPINGS badge.
CASSETTE BOY, a Puzzle RPG with the Schrödinger System
CASSETTE BOY It was released earlier and won the Grand Prize at BitSummit 2024. The game was also included in the “Selected Indie 80” list at the Tokyo Game Show 2024. The game incorporates the concept of quantum mechanics into its puzzle gameplay through the “Schrodinger System,” in which objects that are invisible to the player will disappear from the game world. NPCs, monsters, and even arrows fired by the player themselves can be eliminated in this way.
Visually, CASSETTE BOY looks like classic pixel art. However, the game world is actually built in 3D, and players solve puzzles by rotating the camera angle. Plans for the game’s multiplatform release were discussed in here, before finally making its debut at the Tokyo Game Show 2025. CASSETTE BOY is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Steam.
SUPER FROPPINGS, Frog Jumps for 8 Players
SUPER FROPPINGS It was developed from a mini-game that was previously featured in CASSETTE BOY. The game was then rebuilt specifically for multiplayer mode. Sohei Niikawa, former president of Nippon Ichi Software, served as the producer for this game.
The player controls a frog that keeps running left and right. The player’s goal is to jump to higher levels to achieve the highest score. There are only two buttons: jump and use a cherry; the cherry is also the only way to reverse the frog’s direction. In 8-player mode, special items can give players an advantage or hinder other players, making the game even more lively.
The music for SUPER FROPPINGS was composed by Ryo Nagamatsu, a composer known for his work on various popular video games. SUPER FROPPINGS is scheduled for release on October 30, 2026, on Steam.
