Level Infinite and Gameloft officially released the first major update for Gangstar Mirage City on October 29, 2026. The update for the free-to-play multiplayer open-world action game on iOS and Android brings a Halloween event, a new business mode, a Syndicate system for up to 50 players, and new weapons and vehicles.

Especially for Indonesian players, the update also adds JKT Midnight FM, a new in-game radio station that plays six hip-hop songs by local Indonesian rappers. It is the first update since the soft launch and was developed based on feedback from players and content creators, ahead of the global launch in 2027.

While driving around Mirage City, you can listen to JKT Midnight FM. The station features six selected local hip-hop songs, including tracks by MukaRakat, Toton Caribo, Mario Zwinkle, and Xman Ndugal.

Frightful Feast, a Halloween event running until November 18

The Frightful Feast Halloween event runs from October 29 to November 18, 2026. During the event, players who log in receive daily rewards to help with their progress and battles.

Mirage City is also filled with horror-themed locations marked on the map, complete with special decorations, including new areas such as Hilltop Park and a campsite. You can take on special missions, run into wandering ghosts, and even get into shootouts in haunted houses. Regular missions also come with extra quests that help you reach Season Pass milestones.

Build your own business with Vice Tonic

Launched alongside the Halloween event, Vice Tonic is a new permanent mode in which you play as a developer of Supplement, the product Mirage City’s residents are currently obsessed with. The mode answers one of the community’s most requested features.

You start your business from a small warehouse, then run delivery missions while avoiding Orarra’s checkpoints and patrols. From there, the business can grow into a large factory with automated Supplement production, supply, and distribution systems, plus a variety of customization options.

Syndicates of up to 50 players and the Blackbook card collection

The Syndicate system is now officially here. You can create or join a Syndicate of up to 50 members, explore the city together, and fight rival groups in Syndicate Wars for control of Mirage City. Social features have also been expanded, making it easier to form teams, compare progress, and show off your achievements and creations.

There is also Blackbook, a new permanent card collection integrated with the Season Pass. Random card packs can be earned by completing missions and unlocking Season Pass tiers, while uncovering fragments of the in-game story. Completing a set of cards grants additional seasonal rewards, and duplicate cards can be traded with friends and Syndicate members.

New weapons and vehicles

The update also brings a number of new weapons and vehicles. Here are some of them:

  • Pumpkin Grenade (limited time): turns the target’s head into a pumpkin that keeps growing until it explodes. The grenade can be thrown at enemies, teammates, or even yourself.
  • Guided RPG and flamethrower.
  • Razor: a two-seat supercar with a self-driving feature.
  • Nomad Pro: a two-seat RV with a customizable interior and a pod that generates resources every day.
  • Three-seat Tuk-Tuk: the driver can pull wheelies for a speed boost, while rear passengers can shoot with SMGs, assault rifles, or shotguns.

In addition, the fifth Empire Pass, titled Dance with Death, arrives with an updated structure and rewards, along with a new collection of vehicles, weapons, and outfits in the in-game store. The update also improves text flow and translation accuracy across all supported languages, from menus and mission objectives to subtitles and item descriptions.

Upcoming event schedule

After Frightful Feast, a variety of other events are already scheduled. Here is the schedule:

  • November 5, 2026: Double Cash rewards from contact missions.
  • November 12, 2026: Tuk-Tuk Derby.
