Story and Trailer
A Wild Last Boss Appears introduces the main character named Lufas Maphaahl. He is a figure once known as the Black-Winged Tyrant and leader of the Twelve Heavenly Stars group in a game called Exgate Online. Lufas is told to reappear 200 years after his defeat in an event controlled by the players.
The main trailer shows Lufas in a world that is now real, not just a game. The promotional video also features the opening song "Level o Agete Butsuri de Naguru," performed by Kisida Kyodan & The Akebosi Rockets.

About A Wild Last Boss Appears
A Wild Last Boss Appears or Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta is a light novel series by Firehead with illustrations by Yahako. The novel was first published through the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in October 2015. The print version was published by Earth Star Entertainment under the Earth Star Novel label from February 2016 to April 2019.
The manga adaptation by Tsubasa Hazuki began publishing on the Comic Earth Star website in June 2017 and is still running today. J-Novel Club has licensed both the novel and manga versions in English.
Anime A Wild Last Boss Appears is scheduled to air in October 2025 as part of the upcoming fall season.
