Virtual band Mugendai Mewtype, which is part of the franchise BanG Dream!, will get a TV anime adaptation. Project anime This is titled BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita and is scheduled for release in 2026.

The official announcement of the anime project was made during Mugendai Mewtype's 4th concert, "Unlock the Future," which took place on September 7 at the Tachikawa Stage Garden. Along with the airdate announcement, the visuals for the anime have also been released to the public.
The animation production will be done by Nichika Line (Nichigaline), a new studio brand under SANZIGEN. For the music production in the anime BanG Dream! Yume∞Mitathe responsibility will be held by PHYZ.
Profile of Mugendai Mewtype in the BanG Dream Franchise!
Mugendai Mewtype, also known as Yumemita, is a virtual band unit. The group debuted on digital platforms in November 2023 through the single "Mugen My World."
The band formation consists of five members with their respective positions:
- Nakamachi Arale (Vocals)
- Miyanaga Nonoka (Lead Guitar)
- Minetsuki Ritsu (Rhythm Guitar)
- Fuji Miyako (Keyboard)
- Sengoku Yuno (DJ)
This member composition makes Mugendai Mewtype unique, as they are the only band among the ten main bands in the franchise. BanG Dream! which does not have a bassist and drummer position.
New Music Video Release "Tuning"
Along with another big announcement, Mugendai Mewtype has released a music video for their new song titled "Tuning."
The music video, also produced by Nichika Line, gives an early idea of the quality and visual style that can be expected from their upcoming anime projects.
First Album and Upcoming Plans
Mugendai Mewtype's plans do not stop there. They will release a Blu-ray containing compilations from the first to the third concert. The group will also launch their debut album which will contain a total of 15 songs, four of which are new songs.
The limited edition of the album will include bonus content in the form of a Blu-ray recording of the 4th concert. Finally, a concert tour has also been added to their agenda for the future.
