Adaptation anime from the creator Fullmetal Alchemist finally shared a major update on its production. Official website for anime Daemons of the Shadow Realm (Yomi no Tsugai) has just revealed the main trailer and new visuals.
The announcement also confirms when the fantasy adventure will begin on screen. Full details on the air schedule and voice cast have been confirmed in their latest special program.
Daemons of the Shadow Realm Schedule
The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 4, 2026. Studio BONES FILM is trusted to produce the animation. The studio also confirmed that the series will air for two weeks. cour in a row.
In the trailer, you can also hear a snippet of the theme song that will be used. Opening Theme Song titled “Tobu Toki” (When I Fly) will be hosted by Vaundy.
Meanwhile, the Ending Theme Song titled “Tobo yo” (Let's Fly) will be sung by the yama.
Twin Brother Destiny and Supernatural Powers
The world in this anime introduces the concept of supernatural entities called Daemons. Selected humans can control this great power in pairs.
The focus of the story centers on Yuru and Asa. They are a pair of twin brothers who hold the nickname “children who separate day and night”.
As owners of special birthright, they were supposed to rule over the Daemons. However, their lives were drastically changed due to an incident in the past.
Yuru and Asa were forced to live separately from a young age. They grew up not knowing the full secret behind their own birth and destiny.
Now, this brother and sister must fight their way through their respective paths. Their goal is only one: to find a way to reunite and claim what is rightfully theirs.
Along the way, they also have to face major threats in order to save the world.

The project involves big names in the anime industry. Masahiro Ando sits in the Director's chair at BONES FILM. He is widely known for his work in Sword of the Stranger.
Noboru Takagi is in charge of Series Scripts. He previously handled scripts for Kingdom Season 3-6 and Golden Kamuy.
For character visuals, Nobuhiro Arai is responsible as the Character Designer. He was previously known for Bungo Stray Dogs.

This manga has been serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan owned by Square Enix since December 2021. Square Enix is also releasing the manga in English for the global market.
With a solid staff lineup and strong original material, this anime is one title to look forward to in 2026.
