HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact Version 5.4, titled Moonlight Amidst Dreams, will be released on February 12. This update features the Mikawa Flower Festival, an iconic celebration in Inazuma full of exciting activities. In addition, Yumemizuki Mizuki now as playable 5-star characters. Not only that, various new features and system optimizations are also included to enhance the gaming experience.
Mikawa Flower Festival: An Enchanting Iconic Event
The Mikawa Flower Festival takes center stage in this update. This festival symbolizes the bond between humans and youkai that has lasted for centuries in Inazuma. Not only does the festival provide nostalgic moments, it also offers a variety of exciting activities that allow you to explore more of Teyvat's story.
Raiden Shogun's presence is also an important highlight of the festival. He was seen investigating the mysterious nightmares that appeared during the festivities, giving the story a new dimension to follow.
In addition, a number of mini-games exciting festivals, such as:
- A Little Fox's Daydream: Help the little fox explore the dream world while collecting Fried Tofu and achieving his goals.
- Bunshin Phantasm: Utilize the action mimicked by Muji-Muji Daruma from the previous round to pave the way to the objective in three rounds.
- Akitsu Harpastum: New version of Akitsu YuugeiYou'll have to dodge bullets while restoring the harpastum to keep your vitality above zero.
Each activity will grant Festival Stamps, which can be exchanged for great prizes, including the new 4-star weapon, Tamayuratei no Ohanashi.
Yumemizuki Mizuki
Yumemizuki Mizuki, a clinical psychologist and major shareholder of Aisa Bathhouse, finally joins as a playable character in this update. As a 5-star Anemo Catalyst user, Mizuki has unique abilities that support your team's strategic gameplay:
- Elemental Skill: Enable Dreamdrifter State which grants AoE Anemo DMG and increased Swirl DMG when team members use Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro elements.
- Elemental Burst: Calling Mini Baku who created Yumemi Style Special Snacks. Characters with HP below 70% will recover HP when taking the snack this, while characters with HP above 70% will trigger the Anemo DMG AoE blast.
Mizuki will be available in the first half of Event Wish alongside Sigewinne. Furthermore, Furina and Wriothesley reruns will be available in the second half. After the Version 5.5 update, Mizuki will also be added to the Standard Wish banner.
Additional Features and System Optimization
In addition to new festivals and characters, this update brings some exciting additional activities:
- Reel Ad-Venture: A creative short video editing challenge.
- Invasive Fish Wrangler: Mini-game fishing with Co-Op and competitive modes.
