Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia will officially release ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet for the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on October 22, 2026. The PC version via Steam, the App Store, and Google Play will follow a day later, on October 23, 2026.
This pixel-art-style restaurant management simulation game was developed by Kairosoft, the studio behind many popular simulation games. In this game, you play as a new staff member at the second Baratie and manage a restaurant at sea alongside the Straw Hat crew from ONE PIECE.

Manage a restaurant with the Straw Hat crew
In ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet, you can develop new menu items with Sanji, customize your restaurant’s interior to your liking, and serve more than 400 characters. The goal is to make your restaurant the best dining spot on the high seas.
The game’s launch was accompanied by a launch trailer showcasing all the excitement it has to offer. What makes it unique is that the trailer features a rap by Osaka-based rapper KOPERU. You can watch the full trailer at the end of this article.
A special message from Eiichiro Oda
ONE PIECE creator Eiichiro Oda also shared a special message for fans. He recounted that one of his favorite radio hosts had once enthusiastically praised Kairosoft.
Oda admitted that he had shouted, “OH, THAT KAIROSOFT!?” when he saw the name Kairosoft on the ONE PIECE game proposal. Once the game was finished, he asked to try it, but wasn’t allowed to because it was thought the game might be too addictive for him.
“So, this is a fun game! (I guess) All right, I’ll just buy it myself! This is supposed to be a promotion, right?!?!” he said jokingly.
Create a new menu with Sanji
Favorite recipes from the series, such as “Water-Water Meat BBQ” and “Sea King Penne Gorgonzola,” are featured in this game. You can search for new ingredients to expand your ever-growing selection of dishes.
The dishes you’ve prepared can also be combined and arranged into an original set menu. You might even create a special dish inspired by the powers of the Devil Fruit.
More than 200 types of furniture and home decor
You’re free to design your dream restaurant with over 200 types of furniture, buildings, and interior decorations. If the guests you invite like the atmosphere of your restaurant, they might even become regulars.
There is also furniture inspired by iconic locations from the series. Here are a few examples:
- Sweet dessert-themed decorations inspired by Whole Cake Island
- Futuristic decor inspired by Egghead
More than 400 characters are set to make an appearance
