Official website for the anime Rich Girl Caretaker has just updated their website with the release of the first promotional materials. The production team has finally unveiled a teaser trailer and key visuals that showcase the character designs for the series.
The announcement also confirmed the animation studio as well as the official airdate. Studio Brain's Base is confirmed as the studio working on anime This. The series is set to premiere in July 2026, putting it in the lineup of anime that will fill the air slot of the upcoming Summer 2026 season.
Story and Trailer of Rich Girl Caretaker
This anime elevates the romantic comedy genre with a touch of slice of life which focuses on the character of Itsuki Tomonari. Itsuki is a high school student who originally lived an ordinary life.
Things take a drastic turn when he becomes involved in a kidnapping incident. This leads him to an unexpected role as a nanny for Hinako Konohana, a young woman from one of Japan's largest conglomerate families.
The narrative of the story highlights the contrasting differences between Hinako's public image and private life. On the surface, Hinako appears to be a brilliant, charming girl with great charm. She has to maintain the image of a “perfect young lady” while in the school environment due to family reasons.
However, the reality behind closed doors is quite different. Hinako is actually a lazy girl who has no life skills or life skills adequate. Seeing this condition, Itsuki took on the role of caring for and protecting her with great care.
These interactions slowly changed the dynamics of their relationship from mere master and servant to a deeper emotional bond. Hinako began to show great dependence on Itsuki, even to the point where she didn't like it if

About Rich Girl Caretaker
The anime is adapted from a light novel series by Yusaku Sakaishi with illustrations by Sakura Miwabe. Before getting an anime adaptation, this series had a long history of publication in various media.
This story was first launched as a Web Novel on the website of Shosetsuka ni Naro in April 2020. Its popularity on the online platform led it to the print format. Hobby Japan began publishing the series in physical form under the HJ Bunko label in May 2021.
In addition to the Light Novel, the series has also received a Manga adaptation illustrated by Sorahiko Mizushima. The manga began serialization on Hobby Japan's Comic Fire site in July 2021.
For international distribution, Monogatari Novels holds the license to publish this light novel in English.
Viewers can look forward to its premiere in July 2026.
