Crunchyroll Anime Awards The ninth edition was officially held on May 25, 2025 at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa, Tokyo. The annual event honors the best anime that aired throughout 2024 and this year recorded over 51 million votes from fans around the world.

Global Impact Award: Attack on Titan
In the performance, Attack on Titan received the inaugural award Global Impact Award of the Anime Awards. The award celebrates visionary creators and innovative works that have left an indelible mark on pop culture, anime history, and the hearts of viewers around the world.
The closing movie titled Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK has premiered at the end of 2024, marking the official end of the iconic anime series that has aired for more than a decade. Director Yuichiro Hayashi from studio MAPPA was present to accept the award, representing the entire creative team that has spent years bringing Hajime Isayama's story to life.
