Remedy Entertainment unveiled the latest launch trailer for CONTROL Resonant on September 18, 2026. The trailer features the song “My Favorite Game” by The Cardigans as its background music.
Dylan Faden and Paranatural Powers
In CONTROL Resonant, players will take control of Dylan Faden. Dylan harnesses his paranormal powers to the fullest to confront the threats around him. He also masters various forms of the Aberrant to overcome battles against powerful enemies and massive bosses.
The trailer showcases a surreal world filled with distortions of reality. Elements like these have been a hallmark of the *Control* franchise ever since the first game was released several years ago. Remedy appears to be maintaining that visual style and narrative for the sequel, while also expanding the scale of combat with massive bosses.
CONTROL Resonant is also still part of the Remedy Connected Universe, the narrative thread that links CONTROL with Alan Wake. Remedy has previously included crossover elements between the two franchises in earlier games. Many fans are now eagerly awaiting to see if that connection will continue in CONTROL Resonant.
Release Date and Platform Availability
CONTROL Resonant will be released globally on September 24, 2026. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. GeForce NOW support will also be available from day one, allowing players with limited hardware to still experience the game via cloud streaming.
Physical editions for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will follow on October 15, 2026, three weeks after the digital launch. Additionally, the Mac versions for Steam and the App Store are scheduled to be released in late 2026.
