The World Webtoon Awards 2025 was held to honor webtoon works released globally. The event was organized by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Korea (MSCT) with Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA).

World Webtoon Awards 2025 open for entries webtoon from creators without nationality restrictions. Submissions can be made by individuals, studios, platforms, agencies, or associations. If the submission is made on behalf of the original creator, the creator's consent is deemed to have been obtained through the completion of the submission form without the need for additional documents.
Previously award-winning works may be resubmitted if eligible. Works that have been re-serialized after completion do not meet the eligibility criteria.
Submission Period for the 2025 World Webtoon Awards
The submission period for the 2025 World Webtoon Awards takes place under the following conditions:
- Filing date: June 16, 2025 to July 15, 2025
- Eligible works: webtoons serialized on domestic or international platforms between January 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025
World Webtoon Awards 2025 Judging Process
The World Webtoon Awards 2025 has the following judging stages:
- Preliminary screening: selected about 20 works from open submissions and recommendations
- Final screeningDetermining the 10 winners through a panel of judges including the Chief Judge.
- Readers' Choice Award: determined by 100% readers' votes for the main award nominee works
- Award ceremony: October 22, 2025 at Lotte Cinema World Tower, Seoul
Collaboration with World Webtoon Festival
The 2025 World Webtoon Awards ceremony was held in conjunction with the World Webtoon Festival. The festival takes place from October 19 to 22, 2025 at Lotte World Tower and Lotte World Ice Rink. A total of 11 pop-up stores will be present from October 16 to 26, 2025.
Achievements of the First Edition of World Webtoon Awards
In the first edition, the World Webtoon Awards recognized 13 webtoon titles. These titles include Solo Leveling (Grand Prize), The Remarried Empress, Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, Hellbound, and The Great (Judge's Pick).
