New project from the franchise Muv-Luv was officially introduced in a live broadcast titled "Zaltoum Academy Special Live Classroom". Game This new one is titled Muv-Luv Girls Garden and brings the concept of school x bishōjo x battle with a distinctive classic style.
Muv-Luv Girls Garden Story Set on Zaltoum Island
This game takes place on a fictional island called Zaltoum. Underneath the island is a large underground chamber called the Maze. This place is filled with gravitational anomalies and various mysterious threats of unknown origin. Inside the Maze is also a rare resource called Tatsumiya Ore.
Zaltoum Island is home to Zaltoum University, a university with a specialized Pilot Department. In this department, students are trained to control a giant humanoid called Maze Guarder (MG) and face dangerous challenges in the Maze.
Video Game Promo and Manga Announcement
During the live broadcast, a video game promo was shown Muv-Luv Girls Garden anime-style animated by Point Pictures studio. The video also includes the theme song Fukutsu no Fanfare (Unyielding Fanfare) performed by Spirit Garden.
In addition to the promotional video, it was also announced that an original manga based on the game is in development and will be released soon. These two elements are part of the initial introduction to the franchise's new multimedia project Muv-Luv.

Game development and distribution were handled by EXNOA and KMS. World building was done by Hayato Tashiro. Original character designs were created by Hasama, who is known for her work in Tokyo Babel and Summer Pockets. The final character design was handled by Siino and Pro-p.

Muv-Luv Girls Garden is part of the franchise Muv-Luv which started in 2003. The franchise started as a visual novel game Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts) and followed by Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative. Since then, more than 500,000 game units have been sold, and more than 3 million hobby products such as figures and model kits have been released.
Some spin-offs such as Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse and Schwarzes Marken has also been adapted into an anime. Kimi ga Nozomu Eien itself has been adapted into an anime titled Rumbling Hearts by Funimation.
Anime Muv-Luv Alternative is already airing in two seasons, in 2021 and 2022 respectively on Fuji TV [+Ultra], and also airs globally via Crunchyroll.
