Story and Visual Teaser
Story Kindergarten WARS centers on Rita, a legendary former assassin known as Convict 999. Now, she is living a new life as a staff member at a kindergarten dedicated to the children of the elite and world leaders.
Her main mission is to protect the students from the assassins who are constantly targeting them. Despite her incredible strength, Rita has a fatal flaw: she is easily captivated by good-looking men.
Along with the announcement of the adaptation, a visual teaser for this anime project has also been released to the public.
Production Staff
While full details about the production team have yet to be announced, a few key names have been revealed, most notably the voice actors who will bring the characters to life.

Manga Kindergarten WARS written and illustrated by You Chiba, and began serialization on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ platform in September 2022. Since its debut, the series has gained significant popularity. As of August 2025, the series has reached 15 compilation volumes and has over 1.7 million copies in circulation worldwide.
The manga has also entered its final story arc since March. For international distribution, Yen Press is handling the physical English release with the first volume coming out in April 2025, while the MANGA Plus platform provides the digital version. In addition, You Chiba also launched the manga spinoff titled Kindergarten WARS -LUKE- in November 2024, which presents a 180-page story about the character Luke. This anime adaptation marks a new milestone for the series that has built a strong fan base.
