Ubisoft and BBC Studios have just announced a partnership that will bring the adorable Blue Heeler dog character, Bluey, into the world of the popular game Just Dance 2026 Edition. This collaboration marks the first time characters from the Emmy® Award-winning animated series have appeared in a dance rhythm game, promising a fun new experience for the whole family.
Dancing with the Heeler Family
At the heart of this collaboration is a gameplay map A special map called "Bluey Medley". Through this map, you can dance along with Bluey, Bingo and the rest of the family to upbeat and easy-to-follow choreography. The experience is designed to be very authentic, with backgrounds featuring iconic locations around Bluey's Brisbane home, just as we often see them in the series. The aim is for players, especially children, to feel truly part of Bluey's colorful world.

The Meeting of Two Worlds of Family Entertainment
This move brings together two big names in the entertainment industry who are both family-focused. Bluey is widely known for its warm and relevant stories about imaginative play and family togetherness. On the other hand, Just Dance has over the years become the go-to game to get people moving and dancing together in the living room. The developers stated that the main goal of this collaboration was to create an experience that celebrates the value of togetherness, which is at the core of both brands.
Release and Platform Details
For those of you who can't wait to dance with Bluey, the game Just Dance 2026 Edition is scheduled to be available starting October 14. The game will be playable on a variety of modern gaming consoles, including Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S. In addition, it was also announced that the game will be playable on Nintendo Switch™ 2 consoles via the backwards compatibility, ensuring more players can access this new content when the platform launches later.
