Publisher No More Robots in collaboration with Developer Breakpoint Games has just announced the presence of their latest title. This game is called MANIFESTO, It's a management simulation genre with a fairly dark approach to the theme.
If you're used to game While management is constructive and happy, this title offers a very different perspective. Here, the main focus is on burnout, layoffs, and making as much money as possible without regard for the human aspect.
Profit-Focused MANIFESTO Gameplay Mechanics
In MANIFESTO, you've successfully climbed the career ladder and left many competitors behind. Now, it's time to prove your ability to survive in the harsh business world.
The main premise asks you to get rid of any human feelings you once had. Your job is only one: to satisfy investors and shareholders.
Players will be faced with a situation where you have to recruit a lot of employees to fill your desk. However, they're not just workers who need to be taken care of. They are referred to as “peons” or pawns that can be utilized.
You have to force sales to increase every day. The strategies you can use are varied. You can organize smart seating layouts, upgrade your office, or even manipulate your office hours to make them longer than normal.
The goal is to ensure that money keeps flowing into the company. The in-game narration even mentions that you don't need to worry, as they're “just interns”.
MANIFESTO Key Features: Burnout for Profit
This game offers a series of features designed to simulate the high pressure of a toxic work environment. You'll have to make what are referred to as “extremely ethical decisions” to keep sales flowing.
Of course, this term is used in the context of irony, given that you are also encouraged to do things that harm your employees for the sake of profit. One of the key elements is brutal human resource management.
You will recruit employees with their own unique skills and resources. After that, you can squeeze their energy to the point of burnout for the benefit of the company. You also need to pay attention to your workflow strategy.
The seating position of employees has an effect, as some employees can be a burden to colleagues around them. The sales targets given are often unrealistic and must be achieved in a very short time.
To help achieve these fantastic numbers, there are power-ups and stack effects that can be unlocked as the game progresses. These effects are useful for boosting sales quickly.

Risk of Dismissal and Total Liquidation
The pressure in MANIFESTO does not only come from sales targets. You also have to be prepared for different scenarios that could hinder the company's progress. The worst scenario that could happen is total liquidation.
The message from the investor representatives in the game is very clear: if you fail to meet their demands, the consequences are fatal. All employees will be fired. You as the CEO will be fired. The investor representative will also be fired.
The company will be liquidated, and that will be the end of everything. This adds a layer of tension to every decision you make. You have to keep expanding and leveling up the company while trying not to crumble under the pressure of ever-increasing targets.
Demo Available on Steam
Currently, MANIFESTO is scheduled for release on the PC platform via Steam in 2026. Although the full release schedule is still quite a while away, the Developer has made available demo which can be downloaded and played now.
In this demo on the Steam page, you'll be greeted with a rather cynical congratulations. You're deemed to have managed to satisfy shareholder greed to the max.
Your performance has been noted by investors, and they're happy to hear you're ready to launch your next venture. You're challenged to recruit lots of “peons” to fill the tables and force sales up every day.
Whether it's through clever seating arrangements, office upgrades, or putting in more hours than normal, you MUST make more money. This is your chance to get an early taste of this “soul-crushing adventure” before the full version becomes available later.
