The continuation of the story of Taiyo Asano and his eccentric spy family has finally been confirmed. After the success of Season 1, the anime adaptation of Mission: Yozakura Family is preparing to return to greet fans. Recent information from the production committee revealed important details regarding the airing of Season 2 that you should check out.
Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2
NBC Universal has officially announced that Season 2 of anime will premiere on April 12, 2026.
For international audiences, Season 1 was previously distributed through the platform stream such as Hulu, Prime Video, and Netflix. The same distribution pattern will most likely be applied again so that global fans can still follow the story easily.

Overview of the Original Manga Series
This anime is adapted from a manga by Hitsuji Gondaira. The manga was first serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine published by Shueisha in August 2019.
The story centers on Taiyo Asano, a high school student who is extremely reclusive after losing her family in a tragic accident. The only person she can interact with normally is her childhood friend, Mutsumi Yozakura.
Unexpectedly, Mutsumi is the head of the most powerful spy family in the world. To complicate matters, Mutsumi's eldest brother, Kyoichiro Yozakura, is fiercely protective and sees Taiyo as a threat.
To survive and protect Mutsumi, Taiyo must marry her and train to become a powerful spy.
The manga has ended its serialization period in January 2025 with a total of 258 chapter. The 29th compilation volume, the final volume, was published by Shueisha in March 2025.
VIZ Media and its MANGA Plus service handle the digital and physical publishing of English versions for international readers.
