Capcom has officially announced Resident Evil: Veronica, a remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica, at the Summer Game Fest. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam) in 2027, bringing back one of game from classic survival horror to the modern era.
Claire Redfield Returns to Rockfort Island
Resident Evil: Veronica brings back Claire Redfield as the main protagonist—a character who first came into the spotlight in Resident Evil 2 (1998). This time, Claire is stranded on Rockfort Island, a remote island overrun by zombies and filled with horror and unnerving madness.

Capcom describes this game as a “desperate escape” that will draw players into an intense survival horror atmosphere.
