official poncle announced The latest DLC for Vampire Survivors titled “Legacy of the Bloodmoon,” which is set to release this summer. In addition to announcing this DLC, the studio also introduced a new label called “Survivaton.”.
New Label “Survivaton” and Name Change
“Survivaton” is the name of poncle’s new label for the line game their Survivors-style games. The name is an abbreviation of “survive a ton” and encompasses games built on the foundation Vampire Survivors, whether developed in-house or through partnerships with selected content partners.
As part of the launch of this label, Vampire Survivors will be renamed Vampire Survivors: First Survivaton. Every project under the Survivaton label aims to introduce major gameplay changes, content expansions, or genre twists substantial enough to stand on their own as standalone games.
“Legacy of the Bloodmoon” DLC”
This DLC is referred to as the “evil twin” of the game’s first expansion pack, “Legacy of the Moonspell.”
Content coming soon in “Legacy of the Bloodmoon” includes:
- 10 new characters
- More than 16 weapons and new evolutions
- A new XL stage
- 8 new tracks
This DLC is scheduled for release this summer on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile platforms. As a bonus, Poncle will also expand the “Legacy of the Moonspell” content and permanently lower its price so that both DLCs offer an equivalent experience.
Free Update: Patch 1.15 and Switch 2
Along with this announcement, poncle released Patch 1.15 for free on Steam. This update introduces new stages, new characters, new weapons, and new Darkanas. Patch 1.15 will be released on other platforms before the end of the month due to platform-specific optimization differences.
In addition, Poncle confirmed that the version Nintendo Switch 2 from Vampire Survivors: First Survivaton Currently in production, with improved performance and mouse support.
