In Falsus will be released for PC via Steam on September 9, 2026. This visual novel-style rhythm game from lowiro also has a demo available to try before the full version launches.
In Falsus Combines Rhythm Gameplay and Visual Novel Elements
In Falsus, the story follows five high school girls in a near-future world. Their lives change after they are asked to join a mysterious government program, and they begin to face a side of reality they never knew existed.
This game’s story uses a visual novel format, told from the perspectives of five interconnected protagonists. The world is based on a unique premise: human emotions are visible on the neck, and lying is not allowed.
To enhance the storytelling experience, In Falsus features expressive characters, an atmosphere-enhancing environment, and full Japanese voice acting. The music, sound design, and rhythm-based gameplay are also designed to connect directly with the events in the story.

In Falsus Presents More Than 70 Songs
In Falsus features rhythm-based gameplay with mouse and keyboard controls. The challenges are divided into four difficulty levels, with increasingly intense notes and Field movements.
Some of the confirmed details about the rhythm gameplay include:
- More than 70 songs.
- More than 40 original tracks.
- Music by independent Japanese composers and international artists.
- Discover stories connected to unique songs.
- Four difficulty levels.
Every important encounter in the story is linked to a unique song. As a result, the music isn’t just part of the gameplay—it also helps drive the story forward.
The Card and Crafting Systems Add Variety to Gameplay
In Falsus also features a Card Integration system. Players can complete challenges to collect materials, then use those materials to craft Cards.
The cards you create can provide advantages and different approaches when playing a song. Players can equip up to five cards to customize their playstyle.
The Blueprint system is part of the crafting process. Players need to place materials into the Blueprint grid to gain stat boosts and bonuses. The effects of each Card may vary depending on the arrangement of the selected materials.
Demo Already Available on Steam
