Happinet Corporation announced that *Artis Impact* will be available on Nintendo Switch on September 17, 2026. The game will be released in both physical and digital versions under the “Happinet Indie Collection” label. Pre-orders for the digital version are now open on the Nintendo eShop.
Impact Artist Story: A Post-Apocalyptic World Under AI Rule
The movie *Impact* is set 3,000 years in the future. Earth has lost its original form due to human greed. The remaining inhabitants live under the control of an AI that has run amok. A rebel group called “Lith” is fighting against this regime.
Akane is a new agent with the Lith group. She is accompanied by a small AI robot named Bot. Together, they explore this post-apocalyptic world to uncover the secrets hidden within it.
Four Years of Developing "Solo" with Thousands of Hand-Drawn Pixel Frames
Artis Impact was developed single-handedly by Mas, a developer from Malaysia, over the course of four years. The game features more than 4,000 hand-drawn pixel frames for its animations. Its visual style depicts a bleak yet still beautiful post-apocalyptic world.
The characters in the game move with smooth animations. Akane, the protagonist, shows different expressions depending on the main story and side quests. This combination brings the narrative to life, whether in serious or comical moments.
Impact Artists' Achievements at BitSummit PUNCH and the 2026 RPG Maker Awards
Artis Impact won the Vermilion Gate Award (Grand Prize) at BitSummit PUNCH 2026. This award is given to the best game among all the titles showcased at the event, which has been taking place since May 22, 2026.
This game also won the Grand Prize at RPG Maker Award 2026. This event was organized by Gotcha Gotcha Games Co., Ltd. to recognize the best titles created with RPG Maker. *Artist Impact* was selected through user voting as the most captivating game.
Previously, Artis Impact was also on the list Tokyo Game Show 2025: 80 Selected Indie Titles. This program selected 80 indie titles through a screening process to serve as a showcase platform for independent developers.
