SEGA Revealing the list of special guests for the STRANGER THAN HEAVEN stage at the Tokyo Game Show 2026. Yu Shirota and Dean Fujioka will make special appearances on the final day. The event will be held at the SEGA/ATLUS booth at Makuhari Messe in Chiba from September 17 to 21, 2026.
Five-Day Schedule for the STRANGER THAN HEAVEN Stage
The STRANGER THAN HEAVEN stage is open to the public from September 19 to 21. The schedule and live stream links for each stage will be announced at a later date. SEGA notes that guest appearances are subject to change at any time.
- September 17: RGG Studio TV – TGS 2026 Special
- September 18: Special Stage with Takashi Ukaji and Tsuji Classic (Nippon no Shachou)
- September 19: Gameplay Showcase with Kenny Omega
- September 19: Special Stage with Akio Otsuka and Yasukaze Motomiya
- September 20: Gameplay Showcase with kson
- September 20: Special Stage with Takaya Kuroda
- September 21: Gameplay Showcase with Ushizawa
- September 21: Special Finale Stage with Yu Shirota and Dean Fujioka
Yu Shirota and Dean Fujioka to Perform on Closing Day
Yu Shirota and Dean Fujioka were special guest stars on the final day of the 2026 Tokyo Game Show. Yu Shirota plays Makoto Daito in *STRANGER THAN HEAVEN*. Dean Fujioka plays Yu Shinjo. Both actors appeared on the Special Finale Stage on September 21.
Other Guest Stars on the STRANGER THAN HEAVEN Stage
Takashi Ukaji plays the roles of Genzo Iwaki and Tadashi Hataoka. Tsuji Classic from the comedy group Nippon no Shachou plays Suekichi. The two actors appeared together on September 18.
Akio Otsuka plays Heigo Yashima. Yasukaze Motomiya plays Tetsuya Hama. Both will appear on September 19.
Takaya Kuroda plays Takeo Godai. The actor will appear on September 20.
Kenny Omega, kson, and Ushizawa hosted the Gameplay Showcase sessions on different days. These sessions featured live gameplay of STRANGER THAN HEAVEN.
STRANGER THAN HEAVEN Platforms and Release Schedule
STRANGER THAN HEAVEN It is scheduled to be released on January 15, 2027. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud, PC via Steam, and PlayStation 5. The Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Deluxe Edition versions are available digitally only.
