Ninja to Koroshiya no Futarigurashi (A Ninja and Assassin Living Together) or NinKoro has released a new trailer ahead of its premiere on April 10. New visuals have also been released alongside the trailer ahead of the premiere. The anime is an adaptation of the manga by HundredBurger, which tells the story of a ninja and a hitman who live together in a deal.
Story in NinKoro Anime
Satoko Kusagakure, a kunoichi, leaves her village in hopes of finding a new place to live. However, the reality outside the village is not easy. She then meets Konoha Koga, an assassin who is intrigued by her abilities.
Konoha offered a deal: if Satoko used her transformation ninjutsu to help her erase her tracks after her mission, then he would give her a place to stay. With this agreement, the two begin to share a life full of action and comedy.
Production
The anime is produced by SHAFT, with Yukihiro Miyamoto as Director, who has previously worked on Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Fate/Extra Last Encore. Fuyashi Tou serves as Series Composition, having previously handled Bakemonogatari and March Comes in Like a Lion. Kazuya Shiotsuki was appointed as Character Designer as well as Chief Animation Director, with experience in Gourmet Girl Graffiti and March Comes in Like a Lion. Meanwhile, Ryūnosuke Kasai was entrusted as Music Composer, having previously handled the music for 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life and Love After World Domination.

The latest trailer also introduces the theme song for the anime. Kana Hanazawa, who also voices Konoha Koga, will perform the opening song titled "Yaren no? Endless.". Meanwhile, HoneyWorks and HaKoniwalily will collaborate on the closing track titled "NinKoro Dance".

Manga Journey to Anime Adaptation
Manga Ninja to Koroshiya no Futarigurashi was first published in Kadokawa's Comic Dengeki DaiohG in August 2021. The first volume was published in January 2022, while the fourth volume was released in April 2024. The fifth volume is scheduled for release on March 27, 2025. The manga was also nominated in the Best Printed Manga category at the 2022 Next Manga Awards.
Ninja to Koroshiya no Futarigurashi (A Ninja and Assassin Living Together) will begin airing on April 10, 2025, produced by SHAFT and involving experienced staff and seiyuu. The latest trailer has introduced new visuals as well as the theme song performed by Kana Hanazawa, HoneyWorks, and HaKoniwalily.
