Fall 2026 brings a lineup of drama anime with a wide variety of themes. There are mysteries set in a palace, detective cases, high school romance stories, and even the world of assassins in a special hotel.
5. Horror Collector
Horror Collector (Kyoufu Collector) draws on stories from the world of internet urban legends. The online world is full of creepypasta, reports of cryptid sightings, tales of paranormal activity, and unsolved cases of missing persons. Most of these stories are just rumors or pranks by trolls.
However, some unlucky people have discovered that some of these legends are actually true. Many of them cannot escape their misfortune. New hope emerges when they encounter a boy in a red hood who travels from one city to another. He always appears in places where strange events occur, but no one knows whether he is a savior or, in fact, proof that monsters really do exist.
4. The Detective Is Already Dead, Season 2
The Detective Is Already Dead Season 2 (Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru. Season 2) Continuing the story of Kimihiko Kimizuka. Kimihiko used to be the assistant to Siesta, a beautiful silver-haired detective. They met while foiling a plane hijacking, and went on to solve various cases in many countries. Their adventures came to an end when Siesta passed away.
Season 2 begins one year after Siesta’s death. Kimihiko takes on a new case that brings back memories of the past. The case involves murder, conspiracy, and secrets connected to Siesta. The series continues to blend mystery with lighthearted comedy, keeping the tone from becoming too heavy.
3. Hotel Inhumans Season 2
Hotel Inhumans Season 2 (Hotel Inhumans, Season 2) Once again, we invite you to a hotel where the guests are assassins. Like any other luxury hotel, this place offers the finest cuisine, relaxation facilities, and entertainment. The difference is that this hotel also provides weapons, fake identities, and services to dispose of evidence.
Two concierges, Ikuro Hoshi and Sara Haizaki, handle all guest requests. Each assassin arrives with unique—and often high-risk—needs. Season 2 continues to explore the action-packed drama surrounding organized crime at the hotel. Even more challenging new requests await them.
2. The Ramparts of Ice, Season 2
The Ramparts of Ice Season 2 (Koori no Jouheki Season 2) Once again, the story features four high school students with very different personalities. Koyuki likes to keep to herself and has a hard time opening up. Miki used to be a school idol. Minato often doesn’t realize when he’s invading other people’s personal space, while Yota is a basketball player with a gentle heart.
In Season 2, the four of them grow even closer. Koyuki and Minato begin to realize that their feelings for each other go beyond friendship. Yota finally confesses the feelings he’s long kept hidden to Miki. While some are brave enough to be honest, others choose to keep their feelings to themselves, so their relationships continue to drift without a clear direction.
1. The Apothecary Diaries, Season 3, Part 1
The Apothecary Diaries Season 3, Part 1 (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, Season 3, Part 1) Set after the Shi clan’s rebellion has subsided, Maomao returns to her old life as a pharmacist in the entertainment district.
