The Story of Final Fantasy Resonance Centers on Grandshelt and the Earth Crystal

In the innermost chamber of the shrine, Rain and Lasswell encountered a mysterious figure clad in black armor. They were both defeated, and the Earth Crystal was shattered before their eyes. Though they survived the incident, their airship was destroyed and their comrades perished.

Upon their return, they found that Grandshelt had also been attacked by the same figure: Veritas of the Dark. Rain and Lasswell managed to save the king, but were defeated once again.
