Final Fantasy fans around the world, get ready! Square Enix has announced the release date of "Final Fantasy VII Rebirth," the second title in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy. During PlayStation's September State of Play event, Square Enix officially announced that Final Fantasy VII will launch on February 29, 2024, exclusively for PlayStation 5.
Not only the release date, Square Enix also showcased a stunning trailer, introducing the characters and the maps that may be familiar to gamers who have played the original Final Fantasy VII. Here you'll get to reminisce with some of the most famous characters, from Cait Sith, Vincent Valentine, Kalm, to Junon and The Golden Saucer. Is that all? Of course not!

Another surprising news is the issue that the character of Vincent Valentine will be played by Matt Mercer. But of course this is still a rumor because there has been no official confirmation from Square Enix or Mercer himself.
Looking at the previous games, Vincent is a character known for his 'dark' personality. With a character like that, it's no wonder that Mercer was the first choice to play Vincent.
