Lords of the Fallen II will be released on Fall 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The announcement was shared CI Games in the latest trailer titled “The Battle for Thorngar” which will be featured at Summer Game Fest on June 6, 2026.
The trailer also showcases new regions, a new weapon class, and combat improvements, which are the main focus of this sequel. Some of the most notable details include Ysiguen, the katana, and new designs for enemies, NPCs, and the Lords of Darkness.
Lords of the Fallen II Introduces Ysiguen, a New Region Inspired by Asian Mythology
One of the main highlights of the new trailer Lords of the Fallen II is Ysiguen. This region is depicted as a vast biome partly inspired by Asian mythology.
Ysiguen features a massive pagoda twisted by demonic forces, horned courtesans, and a more diverse dark fantasy atmosphere. This region is also guarded by Lingao the Souring Storm, a giant dragon with the power of lightning.
The same trailer also showcases more characters who will assist players throughout their journey. In addition, it offers a new look at the Lords of Darkness, who will serve as the main adversaries.

Katana Becomes a New Weapon Class
Lords of the Fallen II also introduces katana as a new weapon class. CI Games says the katana was one of the community’s most popular requests.
Katana will be available alongside scythes, which had already been confirmed earlier. This addition expands the selection of weapons that will be available when game to be released later.

Combat in 'Lords of the Fallen II' Is Said to Be Faster and More Brutal
CI Games states Lords of the Fallen II It was built based on community feedback from the 2023 release. The game was also developed using lessons learned from more than 70 post-release updates.
This sequel will take the series’ aggressive combat style to the next level with a system described as faster, more responsive, and more satisfying. The improvements include brutal executions, a wider range of combat abilities, and visceral dismemberments.
In addition to combat, Lords of the Fallen II It will also feature a richer world, more diverse biomes, a roster of enemies with faction-specific enemies in each area, more dynamic boss encounters, shared-progression co-op at launch, and a more immersive Umbral realm.
Lords of the Fallen II Is Coming to PC and Consoles
CI Games confirms Lords of the Fallen II will launch simultaneously on PC and consoles. The PC version will be available via Steam and Epic Games Store. The console version will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Lords of the Fallen 2023 Has Sold Over 2.5 Million Copies
CI Games also revealed that Lords of the Fallen (2023) As of March 2026, more than 2.5 million copies have been sold worldwide.
To celebrate this milestone, players of Lords of the Fallen (2023) will receive a DLC “Precious Metals Armor Tincts”. This DLC was previously only available as a pre-order bonus and allows players to change the color of their armor for additional customization.
The Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition of Lords of the Fallen (2023) are also currently available as part of a limited-time promotion on participating platforms. The discount amount may vary depending on the platform and region.
Lords of the Fallen II is now revealing more details ahead of its Fall 2026 release. The exact release date has not yet been announced.
