Oshi no Ko Season 3 was officially announced with the release of a new visual teaser and trailer. This information also confirms that the latest season of the series will air in 2026. Stories and Expectations for Season 3

Oshi no Ko tells the story of the entertainment industry from a unique perspective. The story centers on Ai Hoshino, a popular idol who is secretly pregnant. A doctor named Gorou Amemiya tries to help her give birth safely, but ends up being killed by an obsessive fan of Ai.

Gorou was later reborn as one of Ai's twins, Aquamarine Hoshino, with memories from her previous life. From then on, he begins to explore the glittering yet intriguing world of entertainment to uncover the truth behind Ai's death.

With the continuation of the story in Oshi no Ko Season 3As the season progresses, some of the lingering questions from the previous season will likely begin to be answered. Production Details and Creative Team

Studio Doga Kobo back to handling production Oshi no Ko Season 3, continuing their work from the previous two seasons. Daisuke Hiramaki still serves as director, with Ciao Nekotomi as assistant director. Kanna Hirayama continues to handle the character designs, while Takuro Iga returns as the music composer. With the same team, it is likely that Oshi no Ko Season 3 will maintain the visual style and narrative approach that audiences are already familiar with.

In the newly released teaser, two new characters were also announced. Mamoru Miyano will be voicing Hikaru Kamiki, while Hina Kino plays Tsukuyomi. These characters are expected to be an important part of the story.

Manga Background and Journey

Oshi no Ko is an adaptation of a manga by Aka Akasaka and illustrations by Mengo Yokoyari. The manga was first published in April 2020 in Weekly Young Jump owned by Shueisha and officially ended on November 14, 2023. During its journey, Oshi no Ko received many awards, including first place in Next Manga Awards 2021 and categories Best General Manga in Kodansha Manga Awards 46th in 2022.

The series was also nominated in Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize 26th, as well as a two-time nominee in the Manga Taisho Awards. In addition, this manga was ranked 7th in the list of Kono Manga ga Sugoi! for male readers in 2022. In total, more than 3 million copies of this manga have been circulated.
