Kill Blue officially gets an adaptation anime for a 2026 airing. This information was announced in this year's 40th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

Kill Blue Story and Trailer

Juzo Ogami is a legendary figure among hitmen. His name scares people, and no job he ever fails to complete-until one day he wakes up as a teenager. To find out the cause of his body changes, he must infiltrate a place he never imagined he'd enter again: school.

The anime's TV adaptation was announced alongside the first visual teaser and teaser trailer, and is scheduled to air in 2026.

Author's Comments

Tadatoshi Fujimaki stated "Thank you to all the readers who have supported me so far. The series is coming to an end... but I'm so lucky that it's being made into an anime! The parents will move! You'll hear slurping ramen! Home Ec Club will talk! ...Saying it out loud like that, I'm not sure if it sounds amazing or not.

The anime airs next year. Until then, new volumes of the manga will continue to arrive, and I may try to do something as well. Whether it's extraordinary or not, please continue to enjoy Kill Blue at your own pace and look forward to the anime with a light heart."
