Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures has released a significant update to its adaptation project of anime Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord. This latest information confirms a January premiere schedule, along with the release of a second promotional video, production staff details, and the voice cast lineup.
Story and Trailer
Van is the fourth child of a marquis who realized he had been reincarnated at an early age. Armed with knowledge from his previous life, he grew up as a child genius. However, when his powers emerged in the form of production magic-magic used for building, not fighting-he was deemed useless by his family.
He was then sent to a remote village that was on the verge of collapse. There, Van saw a great opportunity. With strategy, community cooperation, and production magic, he rebuilt the village into a strong fortified town. This story emphasizes long-term vision and change through hard work, not physical conflict.
The newly released second promotional video officially announces that the anime will premiere in January. The video also features the opening theme song titled "Okirakuze~shon" performed by Rei Nakashima.
