Bandai Namco Filmworks and Studio Pierrot have finally shared a major update for their collaborative project. Through a new promotional video, fans can see the first look of the anime Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly accompanied by the theme song of a popular K-pop group.
The video played the Opening Theme song titled “Bubee”. This song was performed by the girl group ILLIT. Anime is scheduled to air in April.
Before the regular screening, there will be a special premiere screening on March 15. The event will take place at Marunouchi Piccadilly theater, Tokyo.
Secret Transformation at Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly
The story focuses on two sisters, Fu and Rui Nonoyama. Their once close relationship now feels a little distant for various reasons.
Their lives change completely when Fu encounters a mysterious spaceship and gains magic powers. Rui also gains similar powers at the same time.
They can transform into the adult figure of their dreams. However, this power is only valid for one year and their true identity must not be known by anyone.
Without knowing each other, the two became idols with new identities. Fu uses the stage name Lily Konpeto, while Rui turns into Lulu Mashu.
Staff and Cast of Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly
Shintaro Doge serves as the Director and creator of Original Character Designs at Studio Pierrot. He was previously involved in Arknights: Perish in Frost and Pet.
The series script is written by Yuko Kakihara who is known for her Blue Box. The animated character designs were done by a team consisting of Namiko Tori, Hirono Nishiki, and Asami Sodeyama.

Takako Ohta and Yu Mizushima will also be present as Guest Cast. You might recognize them as the voice actors in the legendary franchise Magical Angel Creamy Mami.
Studio Pierrot's Magical Girl Anime Legacy
Project was first announced in June 2024. It is the latest entry in Studio Pierrot's long history of magical girl anime.
This title follows in the footsteps of the studio's classics of the 80s and 90s. Their list of works includes Magical Angel Creamy Mami, Magical Fairy Persia, Magical Star Magical Emi, Magical Idol Pastel Yumi, and Fancy Lala.
The anime is ready to greet fans in April.
