Konami, Annapurna Interactive, and developer Screen Burn Interactive announce official release date Silent Hill: Townfall to PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. This game will be available on September 24, 2026 with pre-orders open now.

Story: Simon and the Mystery of St. Amelia Island

Each previously released trailer has built up a picture of what exactly Silent Hill: Townfall. Konami advises players to experience plot details firsthand without spoilers-an approach that suggests the game's narrative relies heavily on surprise and organic discovery.

Gameplay Mechanics: Puzzle, Stealth, and CRTV

Silent Hill: Townfall combines several interconnected gameplay elements:

  • Narrative-Driven Puzzles: Each puzzle is directly connected to the narrative and provides a revelation of Simon's situation. Puzzles are designed to be contextual to the world and its inhabitants.
  • Stealth and CRTV Mechanics: Players must avoid or engage enemies using stealth and a unique CRTV/peek mechanic.
  • Otherworld Horror: Trailer reveals a new creature in Otherworld that poses a major threat

For the PS5 version, the game utilizes the DualSense fully-adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. Motion controls allow players to physically tune the CRTV signal for a more immersive experience.
