About Hard West II
Hard West II is a Weird West turn-based strategy game that blends cowboy tales with the supernatural. It first launched for PC via Steam on August 4, 2022.
The story follows Gin Carter, a seasoned outlaw who sets out to rob the mysterious “Ghost Train,” only to realize the goal is not gold but reclaiming his own soul. With his posse, you travel the Weird West, fighting duels, pulling train robberies, and racing on horseback.
Combat is built around tactical turn-based shootouts. You lead a posse of gunslingers whose unique abilities grow through combinations of mysterious cards. The Bravado mechanic grants extra action points after kills, so posse members can chain attacks into spectacular kill sequences.
