Honkai: Nexus Anima, HoYoverse's open-world creature-collecting adventure RPG, is slated to launch on PC, iOS, and Android in spring 2027. Ahead of that, the Final Closed Beta begins on November 25, 2026, with sign-ups now open via the official Honkai: Nexus Anima website. The news was also announced on the official Honkai: Nexus Anima X account.
A new adventure from Iia Town
In the Final Closed Beta, players take on the role of an Animaster setting out on a new adventure from Iia Town. The test offers richer story, gameplay, and exploration than previous tests. Players will open a new chapter of adventure and meet new faces, some becoming allies and others formidable rivals, each with their own past and convictions.
Iia Town will also reveal more of itself, from the grand lobby of a traditional bank and the busy floors of a high-rise office building to a breezy lighthouse island. Players can rest in their own RV at any time, or build habitats for their Anima while exploring the map.
What's in the Final Closed Beta
- Chromatic Anima and young Anima: players can find Anima in Chromatic forms, and more young Anima will join the adventure, so you can watch them grow from small to strong.
- Event Bond adjustments: The first 5-star Eidos or Anima you obtain is guaranteed to be the current limited featured character. Getting a limited Eidos also grants its paired Companion Anima for free.
- Interactions with Anima: hold hands, hug, and even get lifted high into the air by Anima, with more interactions unlocking over time.
- Nexus Arena mode: build your lineup freely, face opponents through matchmaking, and climb to higher ranks.
- More challenging combat: enemies in the open world and various challenge stages are now tougher.
The Final Closed Beta is a limited-slot test, and data will be wiped after it ends. It is available on PC, Android, and iOS. After filling out the recruitment questionnaire, selected players will be notified via eligibility check, email, SMS, and other channels. Detailed test dates will be announced later.
