TOEI GAMES, a game brand owned by Toei Company, Ltd., will be exhibiting at the WePlay Expo 2026 in Shanghai, China. The event will take place on November 21–22, 2026, in Hall 2.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
This marks the brand’s first appearance at WePlay Expo, as well as its first gaming expo in the Greater China region. At booth A31/32, visitors can try out the latest demo versions of three games: KILLA, HINO, and DEBUG NEPHEMEE.
One of the largest indie game events in China
WePlay Expo is one of the largest indie game events in China, organized by CiGA (China Indie Game Alliance). Last year, the event featured more than 500 titles from China and various other countries, attracting more than 20,000 visitors.
Visitors can try out games on various platforms, ranging from PCs and consoles to mobile devices. WePlay Expo also hosts IndiePlay, an indie game awards ceremony, and is known as a place where players and developers can meet in person.
Through this exhibition, the Japanese publisher hopes that players in the Greater China region will be able to experience their games firsthand. China is also cited as one of the most important markets in the brand’s global expansion plans.

1. KILLA
KILLA Developed by Black Tangerine. The story begins with the murder of a Master who left behind a final message: “Kill La.” There are nine suspects, and all of them are named La. Valhalla searches for the truth by delving into the suspects’ memories in a world that is as beautiful as it is cruel—like a doll.

2. HINO
HINO is a 2D dark fantasy game developed by UnGloomStudio. You play as Hino, a girl with a red ribbon who has lost her memory, alongside Monimoni, a white skeleton. Together, they search for a safe place in a land overrun by monsters while uncovering the truth about this dark world.

3. DEBUG NEPHEMEE
DEBUG NEPHEMEE Developed by Nephemee Studio. The game is set in a world ravaged by anomalies called “Bugs” and inhabited by creatures known as Nephemee. Your task is to “debug” the world and the Nephemee through a multitasking gameplay system, in which you control four screens at once.
