The SSD capacity on the PS5 Pro is increased to 2TB, which is more than double the standard PS5's capacity of 825GB. In addition, the PS5 Pro supports Wi-Fi 7 connectivity as well as up to 8K displays, although 8K support is currently dependent on compatible content and games.
PS5 Pro Software Features
Sony also introduced new software features for the PS5 Pro that will optimize the gaming experience. One of the key features is PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), an AI-based upscaling technology that analyzes images pixel by pixel to increase resolution. This technology allows games to appear sharper, even if the original resolution is lower.
