Makoto Furukawa will be releasing his latest mini-album, Catch Me If You Can, on June 18, 2025. One of the songs on this album, Hightail it, has been chosen as the ending theme for the anime Please Put Them On, Takamine-san (Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san) which will air from April 2, 2025.
As a seiyuu as well as a singer, Furukawa is back with a musical work that further strengthens his footprint in the Japanese entertainment industry.
Mini-Album Details Catch Me If You Can
The mini-album is Furukawa's first release in almost four years and will contain five tracks that showcase his musical explorations. In addition to Hightail itOther songs have yet to be announced in detail.

One of the highlights of this release is the presence of Tonikaku comedian Akarui Yasumura in the music video. Catch Me If You Can. His presence will add a unique element of entertainment that makes this release even more exciting for Furukawa fans.
Makoto Furukawa in the World of Anime and Music
Makoto Furukawa is known as a seiyuu who has starred in various popular anime, including Shaddiq Zenelli in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, Karasu Tabito in Blue Lock, Shishio Makoto at Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story - Kyoto Arc, and Taiju Oki in Dr. Stone. With his distinctive voice and strong acting skills, Furukawa continues to prove himself as one of the most influential seiyuu in the anime industry.
In addition to his success as a voice actor, Furukawa has also been active in music since his debut under the Lantis label with the single miserable masquerade in 2018. As part of her musical activities, she will also be performing in the Furukawa Makoto 2nd Live Tour "kaleido is bloom", with one of the main concerts scheduled to take place at Tachikawa Stage Garden, Tokyo, on April 13, 2025. Please Put Them On, Takamine-san (Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san) tells the story of Takane Takamine, a model student admired for her intelligence, athleticism, and beauty. However, behind her perfection, she has a big secret-the ability to rewind time in an unusual way. When a student named Koushi Shirota accidentally learns this secret, his life changes drastically. The anime is scheduled to air in April 2025.
