Developer Gemdrops presents hololive Holo's Hanafuda, a card game that combines classic hanafuda with a modern twist from VTuber hololive.
With illustrations of Hololive characters, various game modes, as well as additional features, this game provides a unique gaming experience for both card game fans and the hololive community.
Hanafuda with a Modern Touch and New Fashion
As a traditional Japanese card game, hanafuda has various game rules such as Koi-Koi, Oicho-Kabu, and Hana Awase. hololive Holo's Hanafuda retains these three systems, but also adds an exclusive mode called Holo Awase.
In Holo Awase, players can match hololive character picture cards to construct holo sets and activate each character's unique abilities. The right strategy allows players to accumulate more points and outperform opponents in matches.
More than Just a Card Game
In addition to the hanafuda matches, the game also offers a variety of additional modes that enriches the play experience:
- Adventure Mode - A story-based mode that lets players explore the hololive world while playing hanafuda in various scenarios.
- Bento Box Mode - A casual mode where players can make bento with hololive characters, providing a more relaxed variety of gameplay.

In addition, hololive Holo's Hanafuda also offers extensive language support, with subtitles available in Japanese, Chinese (Simplified/Traditional), Korean, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Indonesian, Dutch, and Portuguese. Meanwhile, full audio is only available in Japanese, providing a more authentic gaming experience for hololive fans.
Available on Multiple Platforms with Digital and Physical Versions
hololive Holo's Hanafuda will be available digitally on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) from July 31. The price of the digital version is 3,850 yen.
In Japan, a special physical edition for Nintendo Switch will also be released with two options:

Priced at 5,280 yen, this edition includes one physical copy of the game with no exclusive collectible extras.

Sold for 16,500 yen (approximately Rp1,700,000), this version includes exclusive collectibles such as:
