Anime adaptation of Disney Twisted-Wonderland released the first teaser trailer at the AnimeJapan 2025. The anime is scheduled to air in October 2025 and will be based on the story from Episode of Heartslabyul There will be a total of three confirmed seasons, each following the plot of the previously published manga adaptation.
Story and Trailer
Season 1 of Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation will focus on Episode of Heartslabyul. The story begins when a teenager named Yu is suddenly transported to another world and wakes up at Night Raven College, a magic academy with a dormitory system. Although Yu has no magic power, he is allowed to stay at the school for a while.
However, his life on campus becomes unstable after getting involved in trouble caused by two first-year students who are often at odds and a cat monster that can spit fire. Yu must find a way to resolve the conflict in order to remain at the school.
The teaser trailer video also introduces the opening theme song titled "Piece of my world" performed by the fictional group Night Ravens. The song was used as the opener for Season 1.
Production Staff
Official information regarding the staff and production studio has been announced. The anime is produced by two studios, Yumeta Company and Graphinica, and supported by several creators serving in various key positions.

In addition, Yohei Azakami will be joining as the new voice actor. Details about the character he will be portraying are yet to be announced.
From Game to Anime
Disney Twisted-Wonderland is a mobile game developed by Aniplex and Walt Disney Japan. The game was released in Japan on March 18, 2020 and localized into English on January 20, 2022. The story concept, character designs, and scenarios in the game were created by Yana Toboso, the creator of the manga Black Butler.
This anime adaptation follows the plot of the three official manga adaptations, each made into one season:
- Season 1: Episode of Heartslabyul
- Season 2: Episode of Savanaclaw
- Season 3: Episode of Octavinelle
In addition, the fourth manga adaptation titled Episode of Scarabia is scheduled to release its first volume on February 27.
The first teaser of Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation shows a visual interpretation that follows the typical style of the game version. With the return of the original seiyuu and a story structure adapted directly from the manga, this anime is a project to keep an eye on ahead of its release on Disney+ in October 2025.
