The Tokyo Game Show will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026. The publisher is bringing four indie games to booth 09-C27 for the show. The games are from Japan, Denmark, Russia, and Spain.
Visitors can try out live demos of all four games at the booth. The publisher has also prepared exclusive merchandise specifically for this event.
Project Solaris Brings Tactical Combat and Friendship
Project Solaris follows the story of Solaris, a failed mage in a world dependent on magic. Solaris strives to become a true mage so he can leave the island where he lives. His artificial sidekick, named Hom, accompanies him on his journey.
The partnership between Solaris and Hom will strengthen their battle tactics over the next 100 days. This game was developed by the Japanese studio Greenhorn and falls into the Strategy, RPG, and Roguelite genres.
Project Solaris is set to be released in September 2026 on the Steam Windows platform via Project Solaris Steam page.
DarkBazaar Invites Players to Become Black Market Arms Dealers
DarkBazaar places players in a dark, windowless room. The only tool available is a cell phone for receiving messages from a figure who claims to be the player’s boss.
Players must use the old computer in that room to trade weapons on the dark web. Luck determines the outcome of every transaction in this game.
DarkBazaar was developed by KeyQuest Studio, a Danish studio, and falls into the Roguelite, Strategy, and Gambling genres. The game is set to be released in the fourth quarter of 2026 on the Steam Windows platform. More details are available at DarkBazaar Steam Page.
MEAT-GRINDER Tells the Story of Obi, the Hitman
MEAT-GRINDER is a visual novel whose main character is named Obi. Obi works as a freelance hitman, even though he looks like an 18-year-old due to a genetic disorder.
Obi carries out various assassination contracts around the world while dealing with his family's financial problems. The game also features a number of unique characters throughout the story.

Overbit Blends Horror, Comedy, and Rhythmic Combat
Overbit is a pixel art RPG with horror and comedy elements that breaks the fourth wall. Combat in this game uses a rhythm-based bullet system.
Players will explore a retro operating system that is collapsing. The areas that can be explored include File Explorer, System Settings, and the Internet Zone, each with its own puzzles and story.
Overbit was developed by Fancy Cat Studios and Daviidly from Spain and falls into the RPG, dark comedy, and rhythm bullet hell genres. The game is scheduled for release in 2027 on Steam for Windows and macOS. Additional details are available at Overbit Steam page.
