Developed by Massive Entertainment - Ubisoft's own studio - the game is a collaboration with James Cameron's production company Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney.
"Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora" is an adventure standalone with POV first person which takes place in the Avatar movie universe, and was built using the latest version of the Snowdrop engine.
According to Magnus Jansen, creative director At Massive, every detail in "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora" is designed to give players a more engaging immersion into the world of Avatar.

In fact, they also worked with the makers of the movie Avatar to create the Avatar universe, while providing a more realistic experience for players.

Avatar Frontiers Of Pandora Play Overview
The game places players on the Western Frontier, a new continent on Pandora, to explore a never-before-told world with a variety of new Na'vi clans, flora and fauna.
Players can fly with the banshee and interact with everything in the world using single-player mode or play online.
In "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora," the RDA corporation threatens Pandora again, and players as Na'vi must protect the Western Frontier. Here, you'll reconnect with your Na'vi heritage, and unite your clan for the common good. Can you protect everything from catastrophe?
