Perfect World Games and Hotta Studio have officially opened registration for the following Containment Test, stage closed beta from Neverness to Everness, a free-to-play urban open-world action RPG. In addition to this trial, they also announced two additional initiatives: Fan Art Contest and Content Creators Recruitment Project to build the community in the first place.
Story and Trailer
Neverness to Everness is set in a fictional city called Hethereau. In this game, you'll play the role of an Anomaly Hunter who doesn't have an official license yet. The main character joins an antique shop called Eibon that runs its operations through anomalous missions from the townspeople.
Hotta Studio has released Closed Beta Trailer which showcases the characters as well as the feel of the in-game city. This trailer is a key reference for players and creators who want to enter contests or create content related to this game.
Closed Containment Test
Registration for the closed beta named Containment Test is now available for PC users. The trial allows players to experience first-hand the key features in Neverness to Everness, including high-speed driftingfree exploration and interaction with the urban environment.
Languages supported in this test version include:
- Voice-over: English, Japanese, Mandarin
- Text: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese

Fan Art Contest
In order to support the launch of Containment Test, the developer held Fan Art Contest is open to all participants. You can submit original artwork inspired by the characters of Neverness to Everness.
The main requirement:
- Artwork must have been created within the last month and refer to characters from trailers or official materials.
- There is no limit to the number of submissions.
- Each work must be a full illustration (with full coloring and composition).
- You must upload at least one process image (work-in-progress image) through the registration form.
- Any AI, collage, or manipulation of visual assets is prohibited.
Schedule:
- Delivery period: Until June 8, 2025 at 23:59 (UTC+8)
- Winner announcement: June 25 - 27, 2025

Content Creators Recruitment Project
Via NTE Content Creators Recruitment ProjectHotta Studio provides creators with the opportunity to get early access to Neverness to Everness. The program is designed to support the content ecosystem from an early stage.
The benefits of being an official creator:
- Can follow creator activities to gain access Containment Test
- Priority access to collaborations and cash prizes
- Early access to test servers at game launch
- Rewards include in-game items and merchandise
- Direct communication with the development team
- Access to official materials (character models, visual assets, etc)
Enrollment requirements:
- Video/live streaming: At least 1,000 subscribers on YouTube, TikTok, or Twitch
- Social media: Minimum 1,000 followers on X or Instagram
- Preference is given to creators who have created content before. Neverness to Everness or have more than 60% of gaming content
- Unqualified creators can still apply by providing additional explanations
Registration is open from May 15, 2025 with no time limit. Evaluation is carried out periodically, and the results will be informed via email. Availability of Neverness to Everness Game
Neverness to Everness is a free-to-play urban open-world action RPG with supernatural elements developed by Hotta Studio. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android. Currently, no release date has been officially announced.
