THQ Nordic today introduced the latest South Park game in its 2023 digital exhibition titled Snow Day. This game is said to be a game four-player co-op action about the "magic" of winter. What does that mean?
South Park and Winter Games
So what this means is that the game wants to provide an interesting experience, especially for those of you who don't live in snowy locations, to experience winter with all its activities. For example, in the northern part of the world, when it snows, the weather is really bad; schools are closed, kids are out of school, skating, sledding, and even snow wars. But isn't winter actually that bad?
Well, this is the basic idea of the game South Park: Snow Day! So, here the characters Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Keny will celebrate the most magical day of every young person's life. But it's important to note that the story in the South Park game is not as beautiful as the past you want to remember!
Here there will be fireballs that suddenly fall from the sky, summon various missiles in the form of magic, or even you can summon aliens, demons, or any creatures deh that roam the streets of South Park! Sounds like fun, right?
South Park Game is Not for Kids
Yes, despite the word 'magic' and the impression that it's just 'play', South Park is not a game for kids. You see, this game will bring some brutal and bloody activities.
Here players can burn and kill with a variety of weapons. These weapons are diverse, can be obtained from the game or made by yourself, often known as Crafting. And, let's not forget the dialogs dark jokes and the crude swearing that characterizes South Park!
What's Different from Other South Park Games?
As said before, this game brings a 'special snow day' so it seems that South Park: Snow Day will be different from the previous South Park video games, The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole.
Both previous games were RPGs based on turn-basedUnfortunately, THQ Nordic hasn't revealed anything more about Snow Day except that the game is expected to be released in 2024, so we'll have to wait some more time to see how it compares. What do you guys think?
