KONAMI has officially launched the Road to Worlds! 2026 campaign in Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL. Through this campaign, duelists from various regions can participate in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship qualifiers to compete for a spot in the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2026, or WCS 2026, which will be held in Tokyo, Japan.
As a Yu-Gi-Oh! player or fan, this is a major event you won’t want to miss. That’s because this year’s qualifiers once again feature a two-stage competitive format, special in-game rewards, and a variety of limited-time content available for claim throughout the event period.
Road to Worlds! 2026: The Path to WCS 2026
The "Road to Worlds!" 2026 campaign is the official path for duelists Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL to reach the world stage. In the qualifiers Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship In this event, players will compete to achieve the best possible ranking and have the chance to represent their respective regions.
In the first stage, duelists must compete to level up until they reach DLv. 20. Players who successfully reach that level will advance to the next stage, the Regional Qualifiers. From this regional stage, a select group of the best duelists will be chosen to compete in WCS 2026.
In my opinion, this format makes the competition feel more open. You don’t just need a strong deck; you also need consistency, an understanding of the meta, and the ability to read your opponents’ strategies across many matches.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Qualifier Schedule on MASTER DUEL
KONAMI has announced the official schedule for the Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL qualifiers leading up to the WCS 2026. The competition will take place in two main stages.
Stage 1
Stage 1 will take place from June 10–22 CEST. During this stage, players must compete to reach DLv. 20. If you’re serious about securing a spot in the next stage, this period is the most critical time to test your deck, adjust your strategy, and study the popular decks that frequently appear on the ladder.
Stage 2 Regional Qualifiers
Stage 2, or the Regional Qualifiers, will take place June 19–22 CEST. This stage will determine the top duelists from each region. Players who make it to the top ranks will earn the chance to advance to WCS 2026.
Here is the number of duelists who will represent each region:
- Japan: 2 duelists
- EMEA + ANZ: 1 duelist
- North America: 1 duelist
- Latin America: 1 duelist
- Asia: 1 duelist
The qualifying duelists will then compete alongside two teammates in Tokyo for the title of the world’s best team in Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL.
Road to Worlds! 2026 Login Rewards

To celebrate the start of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship qualifiers, Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL is also launching a login campaign featuring a variety of exciting rewards. One of the main rewards you can earn is the UR card Number C101: Silent Honor DARK with Royal Finish.
