ATLUS will release Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army on June 19, 2025. This game features more than 120 demons that come from a variety of titles Shin Megami Tensei (SMT), including SMT V Vengeance and Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon. This is an increase of more than 50 compared to the original version.
Over 120 Demons from SMT Series
In the original version Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless ArmyIn the remastered version, the number of demons available is almost 80, depending on how the Fusion variant results are counted. In the remastered version, that number grows to over 120 demons. All demons are from the main series Shin Megami Tensei and other spin-offs.
Demons who join the team can learn two types of skills, namely Combat Skills and Passive Skills. These skills are obtained through leveling up, the fusion process, and the use of the Skill Book. The Skill Book allows demons to learn certain abilities gradually. After reading the same book several times, the demon will fully master the skill and can inherit it through fusion.
Loyalty and Devil Summoner Rank System
Loyalty will increase over time as the demon is brought into battle or accompanies Raidou when exploring areas. If Loyalty reaches its maximum, the demon will unlock new Passive Skills and can provide useful materials for the Sword Alchemy system.
The total Loyalty of all your demons will determine your Devil Summoner Rank. Rank increases will unlock new titles and increase Raidou's capacity to carry more demons. This title can be changed at any time during the game.
Summoner Skills and Sword Alchemy
Raidou can now learn Summoner Skills from the weapons used. There are two types of skills available:
- Combat Skills: an active ability that can be used while fighting, and can be changed even while the fight is in progress.
- Sword Skills: a passive ability that activates when a specific weapon is used.
New Summoner Skills can be obtained by crafting new weapons through the Sword Alchemy system, as long as you have the necessary materials.
Character
Some of the characters introduced in Raidou Remastered includes:
- Kenzo Satake: the young captain of the Kanto Haguro Family. He provided information to Raidou to help with the investigation.
- Sadakichi: a soldier who defected after learning of a secret project Super Soldier led by Munakata.
- Kiyoshi Daidouji: Kaya's uncle and the manager of the Daidouji textile factory, which is facing a financial crisis.
- Hell's Pawns: a mysterious group that kidnapped Kaya. They have physical strength above humans and are suspected of being involved in the project Super Soldier.
- The Red Cape: a mysterious creature that is causing fear in various places in the capital city.
Release Information and Pre-Order Bonus
Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army will be released on the Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Steam platforms. The physical version is only available for Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. Pre-orders will give you an additional cosmetic item in the form of Raidou Glasses.
